BuyL8tr stores purchase-pause information locally and does not send it to a developer-operated backend.

1. Overview
BuyL8tr is designed to work without an account, backend, analytics, advertising, or tracking.
The developer does not collect or receive your pause records, product details, prices, personal reference values, decisions, or widget information.
2. Information stored on the device
BuyL8tr may store the following information locally:
- Item names and prices
- Selected currency
- Optional product-page URLs
- Retrieved product titles and images
- Pause start and end times
- Bought, skipped, or waiting decisions
- Money-kept totals
- Hourly rate, coffee price, and grocery-run value
- Notification state
- Widget snapshots
These records are stored in the local App Group container used by the app, Safari Share Extension, and Home Screen widgets. BuyL8tr does not sync or upload them to a developer-operated service. Normal Apple device backups may include local app data according to your iOS and iCloud settings.
3. Product webpage requests
You may paste or share a product webpage. Your device contacts that webpage directly to try to retrieve product details. Like a normal internet request, this may expose information such as your IP address, device or network information, request headers, and the requested page to the webpage operator.
That third-party webpage processes information under its own privacy policy. BuyL8tr’s developer does not receive the webpage request, response, or browsing information.
Product metadata retrieval is best effort. BuyL8tr does not bypass access controls or use retailer-specific scraping services.
4. Safari Share Extension
The Safari Share Extension receives only the webpage or content you intentionally share. It uses that information to create a pause. Shared records are transferred through the local App Group and are not uploaded to the developer.
5. Widgets
Widgets use a local App Group snapshot. They may show active pauses, status, and money-kept totals. Widget data is not sent to the developer.
6. Notifications
BuyL8tr notifications are local. Notification permission is optional, and you can change it in iOS Settings. Notification content is scheduled through iOS and is not sent to a developer-operated notification server.
Apple may process notification-related technical information as part of normal iOS operation under Apple’s policies. BuyL8tr does not use a remote push-notification server.
7. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
BuyL8tr contains:
- No analytics SDK
- No advertising SDK
- No behavioural or cross-app tracking
- No sale of personal data
- No third-party marketing profile
8. Accounts, cloud storage, and payments
Version 1.0 has no account, login, developer-operated cloud storage, or in-app purchases. BuyL8tr does not process payment-card information.
9. Data deletion
You can delete individual active pauses in the app. Decisions remove items from the active list according to app behaviour. You can also remove widgets and disable notifications through iOS.
Deleting the app removes BuyL8tr’s local data from that iPhone. Existing Apple device backups may retain a copy until you delete the backup or it expires under Apple’s policies. The developer cannot retrieve or delete those records because the developer does not possess them.
10. Children
BuyL8tr is not directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum age of digital consent. The app and this website do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Third-party services
BuyL8tr may interact with the Apple App Store, iOS, Safari, and product webpages you select. This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process website request and operational data (such as IP address, browser and network information, requested URLs, timestamps, and security signals) to host, secure, and operate the website. Cloudflare does not operate the BuyL8tr iOS app or receive its local pause records.
12. Website privacy
This marketing website does not include developer-added analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, newsletter forms, account creation, or profiling cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare’s hosting and security layers may process request data such as IP address, browser and network information, requested URLs, timestamps, security signals, and operational logs, and may set strictly necessary security cookies. These services operate under Cloudflare’s own terms and privacy policy. The developer does not use this information for marketing or visitor profiling.
13. International access
This website may be hosted or processed in countries outside your location through the hosting provider. No specific hosting country or EU-only data-residency commitment is stated.
14. User rights and contact
Because the developer does not receive app records, the developer generally cannot access, correct, export, or delete those local records remotely.

15. Changes
This policy may be updated when the app, this website, or legal requirements change. The effective date shown at the top will be updated when a revised policy takes effect.
